Over the course of an entire day, together, we’ll set our sights on the future.

We’ll move from one-on-one relationship building to small group discussions on the conference community’s dreams for the future.

We’ll end the day in groups large and small, where participants self-select to focus on the issues that they are most passionate about.

Using an appreciative inquiry model, the program is guided by two facilitators, while the conference community produces the action and discussion with the support of a large team of small group facilitators.

Facilitators

• Laura Cuthbert - Laura Cuthbert is a community mobilizer. Her experience working as an anthropologist has given her a different way of understanding culture and connection. She offers this lens to bridge communities to one another and is always looking for ways movements might overlap and learn together. Laura is a Co-Director of Organize BC.
• Kera McArthur - Kera McArthur is a multiple award winning communicator with diverse experience in strategic communications, public consultation, public policy development, and fundraising. Core to her practice is the principle that innovative public policy can only be achieved through effective engagement with the public. Kera is the executive director with Simon Fraser University.
